Psychosocial Interventions is a program to provide services to individuals suffering from a serious mental illness. The primary goal of this program is to keep clients out of the hospital and to maximize Their potential for independent living. PSR intervention is intended to be a transitional level of care based on the individual’s recovery and resiliency goals.
PSR includes the following major components:
a) Basic living skills development
b) Psychosocial skills training
c) Therapeutic socialization
d) Individual empowerment.
